By accepting Christ, you become part of the body of Christ. In this world the body of Christ is represented through the visible Christian church. In order to grow spiritually and to have Christian fellowship, it is important to affiliate with a local Christian church.
“We too, being many, form one body in Christ, and each member is united to all the others.” Romans 12:5

YOU NEED TO BELONG TO SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF.
“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and not all of these members perform the same function, so we, being many, form one body in Christ, and each member is united to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5
“Let us not stop meeting together, as some are accustomed to do, but let us encourage one another, and even more so now that we see that day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25.
